Savills signs association agreement with Cortina in Serbia

International real estate advisor Savills has entered into an association with Cortina in Serbia to support its continued expansion in Europe.

Cortina provides clients with advice on transactions and investments, valuations and research, project management, development consultancy, and capital markets. The team of seven is based in the company’s headquarters in Dunavski kej 48, Belgrade.

James Sparrow, CEO, Savills UK & EMEA, comments: “We are delighted that Cortina will be our associate in Serbia with immediate effect. According to data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Serbia’s GDP increased by 26.5% over the past seven years, compared to 10.2% in the EU.

“The country’s real estate markets, particularly logistics and residential, are on a strong growth trajectory and this association enables us to strengthen and broaden our growing presence in Europe as we continue to expand our teams and areas of expertise for the benefit of our global client base."

Filip Tomić, CEO, Cortina, says: “This association with Savills provides us with access to the company’s vast global network and reach of both international investors and capital.”

Last year, Savills entered into an association with DDG Group in Croatia and in 2023, the company appointed Stuart Jordan as CEO of Central and Eastern Europe, bringing together its established businesses in Poland and the Czech Republic, as well as its wider associates network, as a footprint to further grow its CEE platform.
