Savills boosts Capital Markets team in Berlin

Savills has hired Leiv Pfizenmaier and Max Andreae to boost its Capital Markets team 

From 1 October 2026, Savills has hired Leiv Pfizenmaier and Max Andreae to boost its Capital Markets team in Berlin. Both join Savills from PTXRE: Pfizenmaier as a Director and Andreae as a Consultant. 

Pfizenmaier will work closely with Tayfun Erbil, Director Investment at Savills in Berlin since 2022, to increase the international real estate advisor’s market share in the German capital. He will report to Karsten Nemecek, Deputy CEO, Savills Germany. 

Pfizenmaier has c. ten years’ experience in the real estate investment market. Most recently, he worked as Director Transactions at PTXRE GmbH, managing transactions across Germany from his base in Berlin. Prior to that, he spent over seven years in various roles within the Capital Markets division at Colliers in Berlin and Frankfurt.

The hires are part of Savills Germany’s strategy to continue to boost its Capital Markets offer in the top six German cities of Berlin, Cologne, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich and to grow its capabilities across the living sectors, including hotels, PBSA, residential und healthcare. Following the acquisition of Eastdil Secured Savills in early August 2026, Savills Group has further grown its real estate investment banking capabilities, including debt and M&A advisory service, benefitting clients across Germany and wider EMEA.
