Savills launches new residential management and lettings division in Italy

After the acquisition of Beliving in 2023, Savills introduces an innovative service for the Italian residential sector

Savills has introduced a new Residential Management and Lettings division in Italy, which combines the company’s expertise and know-how in the residential sector acquired through the integration of Beliving in 2023 - which specialises in the management of prime new-build projects - with its established expertise in Property Management.

Savills is able to offer a complete range of services, unique on the Italian market, in the Build to Rent sector, thanks to the new division, led by Danilo Orlando, Head of Residential, and Massimo Bassani, Head of Business Space Property Management. These services include letting, management and consultancy in the set-up phase of a residential project, guaranteeing complete support in all phases of the real estate cycle. Investors will have a single partner for all their residential asset needs and future tenants will benefit from a single and reliable point of contact.

With a strong international track record, the dedicated team aims to comprehensively manage all aspects of Build to Rent development projects, providing highly specialised methodologies and expertise, with a particular focus on enhancement, transparency and efficiency.

Davide Dalmiglio, CEO of Savills Italy, say: “The new Residential Management and Lettings division is the natural evolution of a journey that began in 2023 with the acquisition of Beliving. Integration of skills and synergy are two key drivers for Savills; by leveraging our different skills and perspectives, we are able to examine challenges from multiple angles to reach the best possible solutions: an approach that allows us to hit targets with speed and precision, while guaranteeing a high quality service and value to support our clients' needs."

Danilo Orlando, Head of Residential at Savills Italy, adds: "Savills has significant international expertise in Build to Rent, currently managing over 15,000 residential units in Europe. By combining this invaluable know-how with our in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the Italian market, we are able to optimise and minimise operating costs, achieving economies of scale without compromising the quality of service offered to tenants."

Massimo Bassani, Head of Business Spaces Property Management at Savills Italy, concludes: “The diverse and complementary professional skills of our organisation, supported by a strong propensity for technological innovation, are at the heart of our services for residential projects. They guarantee a truly integrated approach: from consultancy in the initial set-up phase, to marketing and commercialisation, as well as subsequent management of the relationship with residents and all technical, administrative and community aspects."
