Savills has expanded its investment team in Berlin with the hire of Prof. Dr. Tayfun Erbil MRICS. Erbil, who joined as a director on 1 April 2022, became a professor at the department of real estate management at the IU International University in March 2022. Furthermore, Moritz Sauer joined the investment team as an associate director on 1 March.

Erbil joins Savills from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he has worked as an associate in real estate valuation and investment consulting since 2015, after completing his PhD in economics at Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin. Since 2010, he has been a lecturer at the Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin as well as at various educational institutions.

Prior to joining Savills, Moritz Sauer worked for Engel & Völkers Commercial for eleven years. He has gained extensive experience in the area of ‘sales and lettings’ in the Berlin real estate market.
