Rotberg will take over from Panajotis Aspiotis, who has held the position on an interim basis since 2019. "We are delighted that Jan-Niklas is taking over as head of the division. It confirms our approach at Savills to promote our own employees and to support them in their further development," says Panajotis Aspiotis, who will now fully concentrate on his role as a member of Savills Germany’s management team.  

Jan-Niklas Rotberg joined Savills in 2011 as a consultant in the Düsseldorf office agency team. In 2016, he was promoted to lead the local office agency team, before moving to Berlin in 2018 to lead the office agency team there. Under his leadership, Savills advised on leasing deals such as Deutsche Rentenversicherung (87,500 sq m) and most recently DKB (38,000 sq m), strengthening Savills position as market leader. Rotberg will continue his role as head of the office agency team in Berlin. The Berlin office has been managed by J. Philipe Fischer since January 2019.
