International real estate advisor Savills has, for the first time in Italy, launched Savills Insights, an instant, two-way communication app.
Launching in Centro Leonardo shopping centre in Rome, the app – which is fully customisable - adapts perfectly to the needs of all the tenants who will be able to communicate internally in a faster and more direct way. The app will also digitalise and speed up certain functions and services which, until now, have been analog. The process will also lend itself to advances in environmental responsibility.
The app will allow for punctual updates between the shopping centre’s management team and the various retailers, on promotions, conventions and useful information for the staff, as well as punctual and precise contact with the cleaning, surveillance and maintenance staff.
The features, currently included in "Savills Insights" are: Sales collection, staff loyalty (staff discount), job vacancies, events and marketing, critical communications, surveys and feedback, retailer awards, maintenance and cleaning, auditing, sharing of store performance data and much more. Customers will be constantly informed and in contact with their favourite brands.
“We have been working on developing Savills Insights for more than a year, to adapt this digital shopping centre property management tool to our Italian market"- says Yashar Deljoye Sabeti, Head of Marketing at Savills – “with the certainty that, after the launch of this innovative app, the traders involved will benefit from this tool on a daily basis, just as it is already widely used in the UK, where this application was launched and tested by our colleagues. In a context in which unfortunately the contact between people must be safeguarded, we believe that an app that digitalises most of the daily and vital functions of a shopping mall is an additional help for the stores of Centro Leonardo.”
