Housing association Eigen Haard sells land in Lisse to Wilma Wonen for 60 new homes

Housing association Eigen Haard has sold a plot of land, located in Lisse, the Netherlands, to property developer Wilma Wonen. The municipality of Lisse has signed a letter of intent for the current development plan, which allows approximately 60 residential properties to be built on the land.

Fabian Penninkhof, Associate Investment at Savills in the Netherlands, says: "What is particularly special about this land is the fact that a concept of urban design was drawn up prior to the sale. The combination of high demand for housing in Lisse and the signed agreement of intent, has led to widespread interest from local and national parties."

Commercial manager Arnout Vos of Wilma Wonen, says: "This purchase is in line with our ambition to develop high-quality, inner-city locations into attractive residential areas. Our plan encompasses a broad and varied range of housing, including affordable and mid-range properties. With this development,  we have added the missing piece of the puzzle for this part of Lisse."

Housing association Eigen Haard was advised by Savills (commercially) and Van Doorne (legally).
