Savills re-appointed to manage Union Investment's office portfolio in the Netherlands

After a competitive tender, Union Investment Real Estate GmbH has instructed international real estate advisor Savills to manage its office portfolio in the Netherlands.

The portfolio comprises nine office buildings, of which seven in Amsterdam, one in Rotterdam and one in Eindhoven, with a total volume of 180.000 square meters.

Abe Jongbloed, Head of Property Management at Savills in the Netherlands, explains: “We have managed many of the office buildings in the Union Investment portfolio for several years. The coming years we will work together with Union Investment to improve on sustainability, increasing tenant comfort and optimizing the occupancy rate by renewing leases and new lease agreements. It is a portfolio to be proud of, and we are very happy to be able to continue management over the coming years.”

Dennis Pfeffer, Team Leader Asset Management Europe at Union Investment, says: “In partnership with Savills, we continuously work on keeping our portfolio future proof.  Developments in sustainability, improving energy performance and increasement of user comfort are our main goals for the next years.
