Savills promotes Benjamin Remy to Head of Tenant Representation Germany and strengthens Frankfurt team

Savills has promoted Benjamin Remy to the new role of Head of Tenant Representation Germany with immediate effect.

Furthermore, the international real estate advisor has hired Christian Krieg to take over the leadership of the Frankfurt Office Agency team as a director, a role Benjamin Remy held for the last five years.

In his new role, Benjamin Remy will lead Savills tenant representation teams across its seven German offices and support international and national clients with nationwide enquiries. Benjamin has over 20 years’ industry experience, advising both landlords and tenants, having worked for BNP Paribas Real Estate and DTZ Zadelhoff before joining Savills.

Christian Krieg joins Savills from CBRE where he most recently worked as a director in the leasing team. He has worked both client and advisor side, with senior roles at Oceans & Company, STRABAG Property and Facilities Management and JLL.

According to Savills latest research, office vacancy across Germany’s top cities in Q1 2020 remains stable at 3.1% while rents increased slightly, year-on-year, showing the continued attractiveness of the market as a safe haven.
