The HWR Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (College of Economy and Law Berlin) has taken 3,800 sq m of space to extend its Lichtenberg campus. The property is located at Bitterfelder Straße 11/13 in Marzahn in East Berlin.  International real estate advisor Savills advised the owner, a private German landlord.

The seven-storey building has been refurbished with suitable class and seminar facilities and the College began using the premises in April 2013.

Steffen Pulvermacher, associate director at Savills Berlin office, says: “The versatile property is perfectly suited for use as a teaching facility by the College and it is located right next to the CleanTech Business Park Berlin-Marzahn, a newly developed enterprise zone.”
