Savills Germany has appointed Marcus Mornhart and Andreas Wende who will assume joint responsibility for the letting and investment business of the international real estate advisor’s six German offices. Both are joining Savills from Jones Lang LaSalle GmbH.
In order to put an even stronger focus on the best possible client service the letting and investment business lines will be networked even more closely and headed by Wende and Mornhart as joint leaders. Andreas Wende will take over the role of the COO and Managing Director of Investment, Marcus Mornhart will hold the position of a Managing Director and Head of Office Agency.
Marcus Mornhart has an over 20 years’ experience in the real estate sector, having spent the past twelve years at Jones Lang LaSalle Frankfurt. For the past three years Marcus headed the Tenant Representation department in Germany. His responsibilities included the acquisition of new clients and the increased networking of the national teams as well as growing the cooperation with international colleagues. Marcus Mornhart took over the role as Head of Office Agency at Savills Germany on 01 February 2013 from Robert Kellershohn who will focus on property developments in Germany as Managing Director.
The future COO and Head of Investment Savills Germany, Andreas Wende, has many years of experience and extensive expertise in real estate and finance. Following positions as Head of Finance & Controlling and a member of the executive management at Deutsche Telekom AG department North, the business graduate was Head of national marketing of the real estate management / facility management division and branch manager at Strabag Property und Facility Services GmbH. Since 2009 Andreas has worked for Jones Lang LaSalle GmbH, most recently as regional director EMEA and was a member of the Business Board, branch manager Hamburg and Head of Landlord Representation Germany. Since 2010 he has been the local representative North of the German Property Federation ZIA. Andreas Wende will join Savills in summer 2013.
