International real estate advisor Savills has been co-instructed with James Lyons O’Keeffe to sell Harbour View Hotel and eight adjoining apartments in Schull, West Cork, for €1,025 million. The hotel property, located in Schull’s Main Street, opened in 2007 and comprises 30 rooms, a bar, restaurant and leisure centre with swimming pool. The eight apartments were built in 2008 and consist of six two-bedroom and two three-bedroom units with views of Schull Harbour.
The asset is being sold in three potential Lots. Lot 1 consists of the hotel at a guiding price of €500,000, Lot 2 comprises the eight apartments priced at €525,000 and Lot 3 includes both the hotel and apartments for a guiding price of €1,025m.
Tom Barrett, Head of Hotels at Savills Ireland, says: “Both the hotel and apartments are modern buildings which make the most of Schull’s harbour views. The town is an established holiday destination that attracts both domestic and foreign tourists and in 2011 tourist numbers were up 10% compared with 2010.”
