International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Marc Pilgrim to its Retail team in Düsseldorf as a Senior Consultant.

Marc joins the firm from BNP Paribas Real Estate where he was a Consultant in the Retail services team. Prior to this he worked for Brockhoff & Partner in Essen where he was responsible for retail Lettings in the Rheinland region.

Marc’s appointment is the firm‘s second Retail appointment in Germany in recent months following the recruitment of Stephan Jung to Head the team at a national level in October 2011.  Stephan says: "We are delighted to gain another experienced advisor in our retail team in Düsseldorf.  The city is an important fashion centre in Germany and with the help of our existing successful retail leasing business we plan to further develop and extend our presence in the Rhein/Ruhr region.“
