SEB ImmoInvest has sold two office properties, Lotus A and Lotus B, in Rotterdam’s Prins Willem Alexanderpolder office area for €57 million advised by international real estate advisor Savills. The buyer is Real I.S. acting on behalf of an institutional fund.
Lotus A comprises 8,620 sqm (92,784 sq ft) of lettable floor area and 200 parking spaces and is fully let to Royal Haskoning Nederland. Lotus B comprises 8,681 sqm (93,441 sq ft) of lettable floor area with 145 parking spaces and is let to sole tenant ABB. Both tenants are on leases of at least 10 years. The Lotus properties are designed by architects Dam & Partners and were constructed between 2006 and 2008.
Clive Pritchard, Head of Investment Savills in the Netherlands, says: “The Lotus complex is located in one of Rotterdam’s major business areas and is a landmark complex. The sale is evidence of a growing investor demand for quality office assets in good locations in the Netherlands, and outside Amsterdam.”
Real I.S. was advised by NL Real Estate. Savills will continue to manage both properties.
