International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Ignacio Palazón as a director in the Property Management team based at the firm’s Madrid office.

Before joining Savills Ignacio spent 13 years in the property management team at Aguirre Newman where he became a director in 2006. He has managed more than 1m sq m of office, industrial and residential property space in his career so far.

Rafael Merry del Val, Head of Savills Spain, says: “Across Europe Savills manages approximately 10,5 sq m of property, 400,000 sq m of which in Spain. Property management is one of our core services in Spain and Ignacio’s experience and expertise will help us to further develop and expand the team.”
