Savills Spain would like to inform you of a series of changes that will take place in our offices from mid March 2010.

Gerald Byrne, Head of Valuations and Director of Investment, leaves the company after nine years of exclusive dedication to property consultancy.

Gerald’s most significant transactions include the sale of HSBC's headquarters in Toulouse, France, the sale of the Diagonal Mar shopping centre in Barcelona for more than 300 million euros, the acquisition and subsequent sale of the Llobregat shopping centre in Barcelona, and the sale of the Liberty Seguros building also in Barcelona.

Gerald leaves behind clients such as Metrovacesa, Orion Capital Managers, ING Real Estate, AFIA, Meyer Bergman, Union Investment Real Estate AG amongst others that will now be controlled by Savills Valuations Department Spain, which has been integrated into a single business unit that will be co-directed by Max Gill and Jesus Mateo from Madrid.

After four years in the Madrid office, Andrew Stevens moves to serve as Valuations Manager for the Barcelona Office. Andrew will continue to work under the direction of the Savills Valuations Department Spain and will be under Eusebi Carles’s management in Barcelona.

We congratulate and wish Andrew the best as he embarks on a new stage with Savills. This will be a great incentive/opportunity for his professional career.

Savills Spain would like to take this opportunity to thank Gerald Byrne for his professionalism, confidentiality and exclusive dedication to the company and the great ability with which he has advised some magnificent high-profile operations.
