Chelsfield Partners and EADL have appointed Savills and HVS Hodges Ward Elliott to market the former Pavilion cinema on Shepherd’s Bush Green in London as a new hotel site.
The listed building has full planning consent for conversion to a four-star hotel comprising 242 bedrooms each totalling an average of 322 sq ft (30 sq m) along with extensive conference facilities and a large restaurant and bar provision. In addition, the building will retain its impressive façade, which provides a landmark appearance and a dominant position overlooking Shepherd’s Bush Green.
Situated in the heart of Shepherd's Bush, the hotel will benefit from its close proximity to Westfield London Shopping Centre and BBC Media City. Mark Wenlock, director at Chelsfield, comments: "This is a unique opportunity to develop a leading hotel in a dynamic and developing area of West London, where there is currently an undersupply of good quality hotels. Furthermore, following the completion of other regeneration initiatives such as the redevelopment of Shepherd’s Bush Market and the White City Partnership Masterplan, demand for this type of accommodation will become even greater."
