CS Lounge Suites Ltd, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has acquired space at Octagon Retail Park in Stoke-on-Trent from landlord UK & European Investments Ltd.

The sofa specialist has agreed a new 15-year lease on the store, which totals 10,594 sq ft (984 sq m) with a mezzanine level totalling 3,250 sq ft (301 sq m). CSL will pay an annual rent of £18.50 per sq ft (£199 per sq m).

David Hodgson, CSL's Head of Property, comments: "This is a good result for CSL having secured a prominent standalone site on Octagon Retail Park and these types of freestanding, high profile opportunities are exactly the sort of sites the company is seeking to secure".

William Hatton, Director at Savills, adds: "This latest acquisition is part of CSL’s strategy to expand its growing brand out of its core operating area of the North West, Yorkshire and North East into the Central TV Region to compliment its store at Giltbrook in Nottingham."
