Patrik, who will be based in Savills Stockholm office, joins from CBRE where he was Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets, Nordics and previously MD of CBRE in Sweden. "

High-Speed Wi-Fi is the No.1 Driver of Hotel Choice for 64pc of Irish Travellers

"A new survey commissioned by property advisor, Savills Ireland, signals a shift away from the idea of “getting away from it all” when on holiday. Alongside digital expectations, the survey highlights a growing demand among younger generations for hotels to demonstrate clear sustainability credentials. However, despite growing awareness, sustainability is not yet a major deciding factor for the general Irish public when booking hotels. 43% of men and 39% of women say sustainability doesn’t influence their decision."

Prague and Brno unable to keep pace with demand for industrial space

"Savills has analysed the development of demand and availability of modern industrial space across the Czech Republic. The intensive construction of warehouse and production facilities for lease continued into the first quarter of 2025. However, supply remains insufficient in certain key markets – particularly in Prague and Brno. To a lesser extent, a similar imbalance is observed also in Vysočina and larger cities in South Bohemia. While this opens opportunities for new industrial projects, it is important to ensure that all input costs (especially land prices) do not lead to excessively high rental rates that tenants in specific locations may not be willing to accept."
