Savills Netherlands Property Management has been appointed by Union Investment to manage 281 rental apartments at MIX Amsterdam, a large-scale mixed-use development in the heart of Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

MIX Amsterdam forms a key part of the Osdorpplein regeneration area and brings together residential, office, retail and cultural functions within a vibrant urban environment. The development comprises six residential towers with a total of 528 apartments, centred around a landscaped courtyard, alongside retail space, offices, an underground parking garage and cultural meeting place Het Verhalenhuis. The 281 rental apartments that will be managed by Savills are owned by Union Investment and are spread across four of the residential towers.

From completion onwards, Savills will be responsible for the full property management of the residential units, parking garage and associated commercial spaces.

Quint Luiken, Commercial Manager at Savills Netherlands, commented: "We are delighted that Union Investment has once again selected Savills as its property management partner. MIX Amsterdam is a landmark development that contributes to the ongoing transformation of Amsterdam Nieuw-West. With our extensive experience in large-scale residential and mixed-use assets, we look forward to working closely with Union Investment to deliver a high-quality experience for both residents and occupiers."

This new appointment further strengthens Savills position as a leading manager of institutional residential portfolios and mixed-use real estate in the Netherlands.
