The renowned engineering company Sanborn, one of the largest employers in Znojmo, will relocate its production capacities to the new AVENTIN Business Park industrial complex as of August 2026. The company, a leading manufacturer of components for the energy, petrochemical, aviation and defence industries, will lease nearly 8,000 sqm of premium space at the site. The long-term lease was brokered by Savills.
“We specialise in demanding CNC machining of materials that require high quality and state-of-the-art technology. Moving to premises with almost three times the current capacity is our response to rising demand, enabling us to continue growing alongside our customers. This investment demonstrates our confidence in this sector and clearly defines our ambitions for the future,” says Jozef Hajden, CEO and Managing Director of Sanborn.
Sanborn builds on more than a hundred years of tradition supported by a dedicated team of over 100 employees in Znojmo. The company supplies its components to leading global manufacturers such as GE, Siemens, ABB, Baker Hughes and TechnipFMC. “People are the key factor of our success. A modern and comfortable working environment is therefore essential not only for increasing the efficiency and quality of production, but also for ensuring optimal working conditions in the long term,” adds Jozef Hajden.

The AVENTIN Business Park project is being delivered by IMA Construction, which developed the full site concept and will also oversee its construction. “The buildings are designed to meet the highest standards for modern industrial real estate. The premises incorporate sustainable features such as solar panels and use state-of-the-art technologies to ensure efficient operations,” says Karel Smejkal, Managing Director of IMA Construction.
Sanborn is a respected manufacturer of CNC components for the energy, aerospace, defence, oil extraction and gas industries, consistently investing in expanding its capacity and technological capabilities. The company consists of three specialised divisions based in Velké Meziříčí, Brno and Znojmo, covering a wide range of production processes.
