Savills is leasing the Maximinos Building in Braga

The building offers spaces available for lease on two floors, with areas ranging from 750 to 1,620 sq m, complemented by parking in the courtyard.

It stands out for its glazed façade, which provides abundant natural light throughout the perimeter, creating a bright and welcoming working environment.

Additionally, the location is another of the Maximinos Building’s strong points. Situated in Largo de Maximinos, just a few metres from Braga Railway Station, it benefits from excellent visibility, great accessibility to the main road networks and an extensive public transport system. In the surrounding area there is also a wide range of retail, services and restaurants, adding convenience and dynamism to the daily life of future occupants.

The property, owned by CTT, is undergoing an interior refurbishment that will enhance its modernist character. The architectural project is being led by the BPC & Architecture Department of Savills, ensuring a high-quality intervention aligned with the latest trends in the office real estate market. Completion of the works is scheduled for the end of 2025.

Francisco Megre, Senior Consultant at Savills Portugal, highlights: “The Maximinos Building stands out not only for its unique design, but also for its exceptional location. With this intervention, we aim to give it a new life, creating spaces for a truly motivating working environment adapted to the needs of today’s market. I also highlight the shortage of buildings in this city with the capacity to meet the existing demand.”

Cristina Arouca, Director of Real Estate Promotion and Development at CTT, comments: “As part of its strategy to enhance and maximise the value of its assets, CTT is refurbishing spaces it no longer occupies, such as the Maximinos building, to make them available to new occupants. In this way, we seek to preserve our assets by giving them new uses, while at the same time contributing to boosting the local economy.”
