A consortium of private investors acquires apartments in residential complex at the Zuidas in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

A consortium of private investors has acquired 35 rental apartments in residential complex Intermezzo, from Achmea Real Estate's housing fund. Intermezzo is located on the Gustav Mahlerlaan, at the Zuidas in Amsterdam. The area has been undergoing a remarkable transformation from a business district to a mixed-use environment. It now features a blend of residential, retail, and hospitality venues. The rental apartments boast an average area of approximately 90 sq m and have an energy label A.

Bas Wilberts, Head of Residential & Hotel Investment at Savills in the Netherlands, says: "The location at the Zuidas, combined with its sustainability features and recent construction year, makes residential complex Intermezzo an attractive investment. In addition, the successful completion of this transaction once again confirms the sustained interest of investors in this type of residential real estate.“

The consortium compromises private investors, Ludwig, Wentzel & De Vries. A larger national residential portfolio will be established in the near future under the name Noorderdam Vastgoed.

Savills commercially advised Achmea Real Estate during the sale of residential complex Intermezzo and was legally assisted by Core Notariaat. Noorderdam Vastgoed B.V. was legally assisted by Hartman LMH Notariaat.
