Savills has appointed Gijs van Vuuren, who joined the business on 1 January 2024, as Director in the Valuation team. In this role, Gijs will be responsible for further developing Savills valuation services for Dutch banks.
Previously Van Vuuren worked as Associate Director at CBRE Valuation & Advisory and has great experience in valuing all types of properties. Furthermore, Gijs is the co-author of ‘Praktijkhandreiking taxeren duurzaam vastgoed” (English: “Practical Guideline for Valuing Sustainable Real Estate”), published by the NVM. Before his career as a valuer, Gijs has acquired legal expertise at law firms such as DLA Piper, DVAN Advocatuur en Notariaat, and De Roos and Pen Advocaten.
