The brand has agreed a 10-year lease at 2 South Anne Street, a mid-terrace unit which is being leased from Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM). The agreement was negotiated on ILIM’s behalf by Savills, and joint agent Bannon.
Astrid & Miyu, with an established presence in the United Kingdom and a flagship store in New York City, has also ventured into European fashion capitals such as Paris and Berlin.
ILIM senior asset manager Sarah Coyle said: "We are pleased to add Astrid & Miyu to our portfolio of premium retailers on South Anne Street, enhancing the already exceptional shopping experience that the street offers. Their boutique will sit adjacent to that of Montblanc, the high-end accessories business which took up a lease on another of our properties last year.”
Astrid & Miyu is especially known for its trendsetting jewellery pieces, including the unique seamless bracelets that are masterfully “welded” onto the wearer.
Savills associate director Holly Collis-Lee said:
“Savills is proud to have facilitated this lease agreement for Astrid & Miyu, further enhancing the appeal of South Anne Street as a prime destination for luxury retail. This continues to underscore the attractiveness of the Irish retail market to high-calibre, international brands, with women’s athleisure brand Sweaty Betty having also joined Montblanc and Astrid & Miyu on South Anne Street over the last year.
