Savills advises Patrizia on the sale of Brussels’ Astro Tower

Savills has advised Patrizia on the sale of a landmark skyscraper in Brussels to Union Investment.

Astro Tower is a 30 storey office building in Brussels’ CBD and is fully let to Actiris, a national employment service agency. It became the capital’s first green office building following major refurbishment in 2015/16, receiving the highest possible level of energy efficiency certification.

Tristam Larder, co-head, Regional Investment Advisory Team, Savills EMEA, comments: “Astro Tower - a prime office building with excellent green credentials in a core European city - just epitomises the class of asset that investors are currently chasing. We are very pleased to have advised Patrizia on this landmark transaction.”

Wolfgang Kessler, a member of the management team at Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH, comments, “We are delighted to have secured this extremely sustainable office building for our institutional real estate fund. With its long-term lease and its prime office location in one of Europe’s most important markets, it ticks every box for a core investment.”

Patrizia was also advised by Knight Frank, Clifford Chance, TA Europe and Eight Advisory.
