‘We are delighted to have been able to agree a long-term extension to the tenancy agreement with Alpinvest. Zuiderhof Pavilions is a strong, independent location, directly accessible from the A 10 ring road. It offers a quiet, green working environment yet all the amenities of the city within walking distance. We have enjoyed a good working relationship with our tenant and look forward to seeing the outcome of the renovation work agreed on as part of the contract extension,’ says Melanie Grüneke, Head of Country of Real I.S. Netherlands.
The office building at Jachthavenweg 118 is one of four high-class, detached office buildings in Zuidas, the most prestigious office location in the Netherlands. The property is easily accessible by car and by public transport. Amsterdam's Schiphol airport is within 15 minutes reach The Zuiderhof complex is also immediately adjacent to the De Nieuwe Meer and Amsterdamse Bos recreation areas.
The three fully-let office buildings are part of the special alternative investment fund (AIF) BGV VII Europa. In the first quarter of next year, the building at Jachthavenweg 112, comprising around 2,500 sq m of space and 33 car parking spaces – currently used by ABN-AMRO MeesPierson Private Banking – will become available for a new tenant.
Bas Sijbom, Senior Consultant at Savills in the Netherlands, adds: "Our recent Savills Office FiT survey shows that 87% of employees in the EMEA region consider a physical office essential for successful business operations. This transaction is a strong signal that tenants are willing to sign a long-term lease agreement. We would like to thank all parties for the pleasant cooperation."
The financial details of the new tenancy agreement with Alpinvest Partners have not been disclosed.
The landlord Real I.S. Netherlands was advised by Savills and Alpinvest was consulted by JLL.
