ReMark International signs a new lease agreement

ReMark International B.V. has signed a new lease agreement at Jollemanhof 5-20 in Amsterdam, known as Huys Azië.

The lease, which commences in August 2021, comprises 354 sq m of office space and 5 underground parking spaces.

ReMark is a global insurance consultancy firm that helps insurers grow sustainably worldwide. It is part of SCOR Group, one of the world's largest reinsurers headquartered in Paris.

Huys Azië was built in 2005 and is located in a multipurpose area on the banks of the IJ river in the Eastern Docklands. Other tenants in the area include the Amsterdam School of Real Estate (ASRE) Harver, ICTrecht and BNA. The building is part of 'Pakhuysen', which includes Pakhuys Afrika and Pakhuys de Zwijger.

Alexander Kimmel, Associate Director Leasing & MidCap Investments at Savills in the Netherlands, says: “This is a dynamic area where living, working and leisure come together. In addition to offices, there are also many shops, retail and cultural facilities such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ and the Passenger Terminal, which welcomes about 300,000 passengers on an annual basis. The Huys Azië building looks out onto the southern bank of the IJ river and is centrally located near Amsterdam Central Station. It is the ideal location for new tenant ReMark.”

Savills advised the owner and Rubens Capital is involved as asset manager on behalf of the owner. International real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield advised ReMark International.
