The Savills valuation team in the Netherlands is expanding further with the arrival of Daan Klaver, Daphne van Gelder, Bart de Vreede and Thimo Dijt. The specialist team currently consists of 25 real estate professionals and provides valuation services in all sectors.
Daan Klaver joined the residential team on 12 July. After his Master's degree in urban & regional planning, he worked as a trainee Asset Services at CBRE, and subsequently as a valuer at MVGM.
Daphne van Gelder also started on 12 July. After completing her studies in real estate and brokerage at the Hogeschool Rotterdam and an internship at ING Real Estate Finance, she joined Savills banking team.
Bart de Vreede completed his Master’s in finance & investments at the Rotterdam School of Management, worked in the Green Team of Redevco as a sustainability analyst and, since 16 August, is part of the banking team at Savills.
Thimo Dijt recently completed his Master’s in business administration at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam and joined the banking team on 1 September.

Savills in the Netherlands has recently developed a Valuation Academy at Savills where new staff will be trained as valuers within a short period of time. This autumn, they will follow an intensive training programme that will ensure that they gain a great deal of substantive knowledge about the valuation profession within a short timespan. We have opted for a logical and practical structure for the training courses so that the content is as closely aligned as possible with the way in which we carry out our work for our clients. The training courses are provided both internally and externally, in cooperation with the NRVT, among others.
The content of this broad training programme ranges from sustainability to valuation and from compliance to construction. Everything a valuer needs to know is covered. We guarantee to give our new employees a flying start to their careers as valuers!
