Maren Tschammler joins Savills as head of the Berlin investment team

From May 2021, Maren Tschammler will join Savills as team leader of its Berlin investment team

She takes over from previous interim team leader J. Philipe Fischer, who will focus on his role as head of Savills Berlin office.

"We are delighted to have gained such a talented and experienced colleague in Maren Tschammler. Tschammler previously worked very successfully on the investor side. For example, she was in charge of the sale of the Metro Headquarters in Düsseldorf in 2018 and built up the asset management team at x+bricks. She is a great addition, given her skill set and her leadership qualities. Together we will pursue our goal of consolidating and further expanding our already strong position in the Berlin market," says J. Philipe Fischer, director and head of Savills Berlin office.

Maren Tschammler, who was voted one of Germany‘s top 25 women in real estate in 2019, previously worked at x+bricks Group as Managing Director/ Head of Asset Management. As a founding employee, she successfully built up the asset management team. Tschammler was responsible for assets under management of €300 million and 40 properties. Before that, she worked for TRIUVA Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft (now PATRIZIA) in Frankfurt am Main. As a transaction manager, she was involved in the sale of the Traction portfolio, consisting of 30 properties spread across six European countries, and the purchase of the Hofgarten in Berlin's Friedrichstraße. Her track record totals over €2 billion.

"I always wanted to work on the advisory side and Savills is the right real estate agency for this. The company has built up a strong market position over the last few years, particularly in Berlin, and has shown great cooperation between the agency and investment departments," adds Maren Tschammler
