Discount retail chain, Dealz is set to open their latest Irish store at Carrickmines Park in Dublin which will open in January 2021 and will create 40 jobs.

Located in Phase 2, Dealz will occupy the former Mothercare store, which adjoins Pet Stop and Sports Direct, and will extend to 930 sq m (10,000 sq ft), making it one of the largest in the retailer’s portfolio of over 2,500 stores across Europe.

Now part of the PEPCO group, Dealz was founded in the UK in 1990 and offers 1000’s of top brands and quality own brand products and was nominated in 2019 by Retail Week for Value Discounter of the Year and also Private Label of the Year for their PEPANDCO brand.

Carrickmines Park at 360,000 sq ft, is Ireland’s premier retail park. Its 30 retailers attract over 5.5 million visitors per year. It is owned by IPUT Real Estate Dublin, Ireland’s leading property company. Long established retailers at Carrickmines Park include Boots, Harvey Norman, IKEA, Lifestyle Sports and Woodies.

The joint letting agents on behalf of IPUT Real Estate Dublin were Savills and BNP Paribas Real Estate. Cushman and Wakefield acted on behalf of Dealz.
