Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund takes 14,000 sq m at TechnoCampus Berlin

In 2021 the German state pension association will move to Siemensdamm 62 in Berlin

In 2021, Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, the German state pension association, will move to Siemensdamm 62 in Berlin, also known as TechnoCampus Berlin. By taking out 14,000 sq m office space, it will consolidate several of its operations under one roof.

The owner of TechnoCampus in Berlin’s sub-market Siemensstadt is a joint venture between AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets and the Caleus Group. Savills acted in an advisory and intermediary capacity during the letting process.

"The design concept of the TechnoCampus, with very flexible floor plans, is an example of what modern office space can look like today. In addition, the campus integrates access to green space with a range of services and food and beverage facilities," says Jan-Niklas Rotberg, Director and Team Leader Office Agency Berlin at Savills Germany.

Patrick Reich, Managing Partner of Caleus adds: "At Siemensdamm, Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund has found a place where they can consolidate operations in an ideal working atmosphere which also offers flexibility. Currently, two further properties with a combined 20,000 sq m are under construction at the site, which will then offer around 60,000 sq m of office space in total.”

GÖRG Rechtsanwälte advised Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund on legal matters. AXA Investment Managers and Caleus were legally advised by GSK Stockmann.
