Phase C of the multi-tenant logistics complex AMS01 at Schiphol Logistics Park has recently been fully let. Landlords CBRE Global Investors and Somerset Capital Partners have signed new lease agreements with CTS Group and WorldTech for a total of approximately 19,365 sq m. Phase C of this new development consists of 4 units and is located at Pudongweg 11 to 17 in Rozenburg.
Units C1 & C2 with a total size of 9,683 sq m GFA are leased to WorldTech Nederland B.V., a logistics service provider that focuses on the import and export of consumer goods and the provision of transport services.
Units C3 & C4 with a total size of 9,682 sq m GFA have been let to CTS Group Logistics B.V., this logistics service provider from Nieuw-Vennep, which focuses on European distribution and logistics, has leased this space for the expansion of its air freight activities.
Niek Poppelaars, Co-Head Logistics & Industrial at Savills, says: “The demand for logistics space at A-locations in the Netherlands has resulted in a supply of speculative logistics developments with a relatively high initial vacancy rate. However, these developments are often fully let within 6 to 9 months upon delivery. These transactions confirm this trend.”
The AMS01 complex is in full development and currently offers interesting possibilities. There is a business unit of approximately 12,000 sq m for rent (Phase A) with immediate effect. In addition, a tailor-made development of a total of approximately 17,000 sq m (Phase D) can be realised.
Landlords CBRE GI and Somerset Capital Partners were advised by Savills, in partnership with 1530 Real Estate. Both tenants were advised by SMC Consultants.
