Gramercy Europe acquires distribution centre Sligro

Gramercy has acquired, through a sale-leaseback, a distribution centre of Sligro at Zeppelinstraat 8 in Berkel & Rodenrijs. Sligo is leasing the permises for at least 10 years.

Built in 2014 and extended in 2018, the facility comprises approx. 26,292 sqm lettable floor space and 40 loading docks. Occupier Sligro is the largest foods and beverages wholesaler in the Netherlands.

Niek Poppelaars, Co-Head Logistics & Industrial at Savills Netherlands:
“This transaction is a good example of the increasing interest of foreign investors in Dutch “agglo-logistics”. Sligro's distribution center is located in a strategic, central location in the Randstad area - outside traditional logistics hotspots.”

Gramercy Europe was advised by Houthoff and Savills. Sligro Food Group was advised by Taylor Wessing and Cushman & Wakefield.
