Savills is setting up a new logistics department (“Industrial Agency”) at its Düsseldorf office in Germany as of 1 October. Together with the Cologne-based Industrial Agency Team, which has been operating since 2012, the team is planning a close cooperation for the logistics hotspots in North Rhine-Westphalia. Stefan Bendix will be responsible for the business line as director and team leader in Düsseldorf, positioning the team in the market and building a strong presence in the long term.
"The ongoing nationwide expansion of the industrial and logistics segment is part of Savills expansion and specialization strategy and aims to ensure the necessary awareness of the individual needs of the user groups. With this step, we not only react to the increasing relevance of the German industrial and logistics real estate sector, but are also increasing the presence of the Düsseldorf branch on the market,” said Marcus Lemli, CEO Germany and Head of Investment Europe at Savills.

Stefan Bendix initially completed an apprenticeship as a real estate agent and then studied real estate economics at the IRE | BS. At Jones Lang LaSalle in Düsseldorf, he specialized in the rental of industrial and logistics real estate as well as the sale of owner-occupied real estate. All in all, he spent almost 12 years with JLL - most recently Bendix was Associate Director, authorized signatory and deputy team leader responsible for the Industrial Agency segment in the Rhine metropolis.
