The asset, one of the longest standing masias in the city of Barcelona, was built more than 1,000 years ago and is located at Sabino Arana Street, very close to Diagonal Avenue. It is one of three unique buildings of this type that still remain at Les Corts district, together with the well-known “Masia del Barça” (Can Planes) and Masia de Can Roses.
The masia building dates back to 1610 and Torre Rodona, a reference point over the centuries, was conceived as a defense tower in the 10th century. Its walls are home to the living history of the city. In recent years, the building has hosted the headquarters of the Hotel Group HUSA and today offers a wide range of urban uses such as offices, commercial, recreational, sanitary or residential. The sales process, which is currently underway and managed by Savills Aguirre Newman Barcelona, offers the opportunity to acquire a symbol of the city. The asset totals 1,120 sq m and will be one of the most striking transactions of the year in Barcelona.
