Hogan Lovells International LLP to remain in Düsseldorf’s “Sky Office”

Savills advises

International commercial law firm Hogan Lovells International LLP is to extend its lease at the “Sky Office”, an almost 90-metre-high office tower, in Kennedydamm in Düsseldorf-Golzheim. The company has occupied a total of 8,800 sq m on the upper floors since the building opened in 2009, making the law firm one of the principal tenants of the 30,000 sq m landmark property. The owner, Allianz Real Estate Germany, was exclusively advised throughout the process by global real estate services provider Savills.

This included an in-depth investigation of the competitive situation as well as simulating potential re-letting scenarios, including a detailed cost analysis. The tenant was advised by Jones Lang LaSalle. “In addition to impressive panoramic views across the Rhine and the surrounding district, the 23-storey Sky Office provides state-of-the-art office space fitted out to an excellent standard in the renowned Kennedydamm submarket with its outstanding transport links,” says Jan-Niklas Schroers, Associate Director / Team Leader of Office Agency Düsseldorf for Savills.

“The building's concierge service, optimally equipped conference rooms, restaurant and café bar are crucial to tenants’ high-quality user experience.” Savills supported Allianz Real Estate Germany with advisory services and in negotiations with the international law firm, preparing extensive location and competition analyses as well as a broad range of proposals.
