The sustained recovery in Ireland’s retail economy has attracted one of the UK’s largest retail property exhibitions to Dublin for the second year running. The inaugural ‘Completely Retail & Leisure Marketplace Ireland’ took place last year and hosted over 300 delegates from various sub-sectors of the retail market. 

This year, over 600 delegates – with an interest in establishing or expanding their presence in Ireland – are expected to attend the event which will take place on Tuesday 23rd February at The Printworks, Dublin Castle.

Savills – Ireland’s largest commercial property advisors – are one of the event’s core sponsors and their Head of Retail, Larry Brennan, says the return of the exhibit and growth in attendees proves that the recovery in Ireland's retail sector is real;

Strong employment growth is positively influencing consumer sentiment – which is now at a 10 year high –and retail sales are continuing on an upward trajectory.
